Happy St. Patrick’s Day! From some green books!

March 17, 2017 //  by Rachel Kent//  30 Comments

Blogger: Rachel Kent

These books are ready for the day with green covers and/or spines! They are all lovely books by wonderful clients of mine. Post a picture or the title/author of a green book from your shelf and I will enter you in a drawing for a copy of Karen Barnett’s THROUGH THE SHADOWS! The drawing will take place on Monday morning and I’ll announce the winner in the comments on this post. Have a wonderful day!

Jennifer, that link will try to point us to a file on your local computer. If you want me to “host” the photo for you, I can do that. Shoot it to me in an email. I’d be happy to get it online for you.

I guess I can’t enter to win my own book, but I want to play anyway. One of my favorite green books is Michael K. Reynolds’s Flight of the Earls. It’s actually more of a teal color, but it’s about Irish immigrants, so I’m going with it. 🙂

Ops cut off my last sentence. I have a book on my shelf that is a faded green titled “Little Girl of the Limberlost” I have read it so many times since I was about in the 4th grade before it had dinosaur dust on it. Still love it today.

Okay, I’m techno-challenged, so I’m not going to try to post a picture, but one of my favorite green books is The Thorn Healer by Pepper Basham. It’s VERY green and absolutely beautiful. The book is a favorite of mine!

THis is an anthology of Christian stories (2014) written by members of Inspire Christian Writers (Sacramento, CA) where I am one of the Critique leaders. Of course one of my short stories is included. Avail at Amazon. (Maybe it’s more turquoise than green, but I think it will do.
