Fiction Giveaway Time!

February 8, 2021 //  by Rachel Kent//  29 Comments

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I was struggling to find a blog topic, but then my eyes fell on a stack of beautiful novels. I have an extra copy of each of these books by my clients and I’d like to pass them on to you! If you submit your name in the comments below, I will do a random drawing and contact the four winners by email to get your mailing addresses. You can include the name of the book or books you would prefer to win. No guarantee you will get the book you want most. Be sure to get your entry in by 8 a.m. (Pacific) on February 11. I will announce the winners here in the comments later that day. Here are the books:

Western Christmas Wishes with a story by my client Jill Kemerer:

The Heart’s Stronghold with a story by my client Amanda Barratt:

Amish Country Kidnapping by client Mary Alford:

A book giveaway? What a lovely way to start the week.

I would be happy with any of these because, well, they’re books. 😉 But I would especially like either The Heart’s Stronghold or A Dazzle of Diamonds.

Thanks for doing this for us!

Oooh! Those look fun. I think I might like A Dazzle of Diamonds best, but it is hard to say.

Oh, and Rachel, is there any chance you will be attending the OCW Virtual Summer Conference this year or the Northwest Christian Writer’s Renewal? I didn’t see any travel plans for you on the website page … but I was hoping that you might be going but forgot to tell us, ha!

I’m not planning to do the conference. So sorry! I’m keeping things as simple as I can until my kids can go back to school and do normal things again! It has been more difficult to do extra things with the pandemic!

That makes total sense. We have our kids home here in WA too (except for 2 half-days a week) and it certainly takes time to keep them scholastically inspired, ha!

    Oh, how fun, Rachel!

I’d love to win the Amish Country Kidnapping for my wife. She loves suspense/mystery, and went through a period of reading various Amish series, so this combines the best of both.

I’d love to be considered in the book giveaway. I write historical fiction so The Heart’s Stronghold would be my first choice. However, any of the books will satisfy.

Just when you thought it was safe to back into the water…here I am.

    Oh, wow, oh golly gee
    cool beans, yipee, free stuff,
    oh, please do enter me,
    I cannot get enough
    though my shelves doth overflow
    with books and magzaines,
I flit between them and don’t know
    what moderation means,
and my dear wife picks past each stack
    and trips over the piles,
but there’s something I still lack
to bring both thought and smiles,
and thus this contest sets the hook
to hope for it, that vital book!
